Cracked 30 MPG in my CT5 manual. This thing is practically a Prius.
(Alternatively, 21.2 average 1k miles almost entirely highway with cruise control at 75-80)
Same, I got TPC spec tires from tirerack about 2 weeks ago. Keep your eyes open and they do show up from time to time.
Totally forgot about the coupon though...
In my limited experience so far I've had no undue side effects from spoiler only. That is in no way shape or form intended to contradict Mirza. It's just not clear to me under what circumstances that no CF1 splitter is problematic.
Ultimately I got it for bling, but I do track my car as well...
I've seen that statement (not wise to do only spoiler) thrown around, but I can't for the life of me find the actual quote/source.
Seems like it's reading too far in to this

What is "higher speeds"...
Bling. The CF spoiler makes the car look "complete". The rest of the pieces far less so.
The OEM CF is functional, but be realistic, only barely on the 5.
@V56, yup, and I had lots of warnings in advance.
At first the tech did not want to work on my car as he had done only 1 other blackwing alignment and messed that one up, so he was worried. I will end up taking it to another location (whether Firestone or Chevy dealer i'm not sure).
I was also...
Am I your friend? 😂
That's exactly what happened to me too. Three trips to the dealership for track alignment, steering wheel a few degrees off center.
I'll have to take it back again. Just annoying.
I did exactly what you mentioned BTW. I used a chalk pen to mark the spot then rotated two flats.
I'm too new at this to be able to easily say one way or the other. All the alignment specs are fine but the wheel is slightly off center.
I threw it up on ramps to adjust the tierods and noticed that left to right they have considerable differences in how much they're threaded. Not sure if this...
This is what the pre-drilled non-cf1 holes look like. Every other hole is used to mount the spoiler, starting at the oblong holes on the outside. The outsides holes would be drilled similar to rubberduck's post
Terrance just sent out the install guide. Great write-up. Honestly the quality and precision of this thing is high enough that it practically installs itself :)
The only thing I'd suggest is not just recommend but to highly recommend drilling the outside holes. Overall it makes a fairly minor...
I'll be brief since I'm on my phone.
The outsides/corners are pretty difficult to deal with. I'm pretty used to doing tape installs where you put the piece down and slowly remove the backing while adding pressure. I tried this with the corners but the whole wing really needs to be mounted to...
Gonna be busy today ☺️
[Edit]
About 2 hours later and it's on. I took pictures along the way and I'll try to share a bit later. The install didn't go quite how I wanted but ultimately I'm very happy with it. There's just some minor nitpicks that only I'll know about since I did it myself.
IRT Carbon Fiber mirror caps, I finally threw mine on a week ago. The driver side was a monumental pain in the butt. Nothing lined up quite right, and I had to trim stuff to make it fit. I broke the crap out of one of the mounts as well. The passenger side was perfect though.
Today, cars and...
