    Aftermarket wheels for CT4V BW?

A few 18 inch options... but I wonder if the offset is right... If so, these would be my new winter beaters!

    Insurance Rates on CT4-V BW

CT4 BW Auto, $592 every six months on Progressive and I live in Skokie, IL, age 37 male. So really, not bad!

    Aftermarket wheels for CT4V BW?

I checked out Discount Tire after someone mentioned it on FB. Their site says a number of Konig 18" wheels fit... Which I have my doubts. Maybe Tire Rack will confirm.

    Drag Radials for CT5-V Blackwing

Have you thought about something like a Toyo R888? They come in that size... while not drag radial, it's a lot more grip than the PS4s. https://www.toyotires.com/product/proxes-r888r/

    Brake Shudder CT4-V

Usually it's pad material and the sooner you rebed the brakes the better, as it will hopefully remove the excess pad material. BUT... if somehow the rotors got warped, or the pads got stuck in a weird angle and wore unevenly, then you'd either need the rotors resurfaced, and or new pad(s). Try...

Any aftermarket front splitters yet for the 4BW?

I've been waiting for a non-carbon-fiber-splitter as I don't want to spend thousands and have one winter destroy it. It's the one thing the non CF package CT4 BWs need to complete the look. The little side splitters just dont do enough for the look.

    "Service Safety Restraint System" Error

Me too. The dealer has ordered the replacement part. But glad to know this is something common and hopefully they figure it out soon.

    Quick question

You can do it manually yourself. Just not motorized.

    Media dumps

MotoManTV just put an interview up today, some of which is the future of Blackwings.

    Metallic click at low speeds

It very well could be the pads rubbing on the rotors. it's subtle and I doubt it's something more serious like a hub or a wheel scraping.

    Aftermarket wheels for CT4V BW?

Fairly certain there wont be any 18" wheels that'll work. It'll only be 19"s and you'll either need to go lower profile, or maybe if you stuck with 35s they wouldn't rub. I'd be really interested to see if anyone could run a 19" with 35 profile tires and have it not rub.

    Brake Dust Cleaning Magic

So I tried a new product tonight on the wheels and tires before going into a touchless carwash. Now usually I need to use a heavy duty wheel cleaner and use the detailing brushes to get in all the nooks. This is what I tried tonight...

4BW Track Weekend – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly (with Video)

So I was digging around GM's official parts site and the rears for the 4BW are the same as the 2022 Camaro SS. See screenshots below. So I think you can get a full set with the 1LE/Grand Sport fronts and the 22 SS rears from companies. I wasn't able to find matching part numbers for the fronts...

CT5-V Second thoughts about using by CT5 BW as a winter car :(

I live in the midwest and have been single car daily driving my whole life. A Subaru BRZ, Genesis G70 and more. I always put under car spray on. The best one I've found is Blaster Surface Shield. I always get my car washed with underbody once a week. and of course winter tires. Even after 5...

    HVAC/Remote start issue

One thing you could try is unplugging the battery for 10 minutes... that sometimes resets things in cars, especially things that are electronic and rely on constant power to keep memory stored. Otherwise dealership is the best option.

Pics of your Blackwing in regular parking spots

I'm a sucker for 930s and 964s. Those are gorgeous. Your BW is also very good looking with that tan interior.
