The second side took like 1/4 the time and 1/100 the headache. I probably should have acquired the correct tools before doing the FIRST side. Oh well…

Thanks! It's a little different for the 4. I found another thread on here with instructions. We got excessive bolts and screws in the 4 where clips would have been just fine, making it a bit of a pain in the ass!!! Lmao. Only did the passenger side today. I'll do the driver's side tomorrow. Maybe.

Mine come in tomorrow for the 4. Any install advice? @DustinEarnhardt and @ anyone else who has installed them

TX lemon law is tough and at this point I've missed the window. It also says if they gave me a "comparable" loaner it doesn't count towards the 30-day... comparable is vague. Obviously they weren't giving me a Blackwing loaner. At this point, with the extended warranty, I'm just gonna drive it...

Update: continued issues with car (see attached), but GM has apparently approved an extended 100,000 mile warranty on the vehicle which I had to do a lot less arguing for than I anticipated.

It looks a lot better but the audio thing is a real bummer

The one I linked says you can still use the "original car function" instead of the Android OS. 99% of the time I'm running CarPlay anyway.
