I'm hoping thats what will eventually happen, with EV's and better ICE cars as a temporary bridge for hydrogen fuel cells. Hydrogen cars can still sound awesome and have "a soul" if you will.
I'll be there next week with the wife. Will my wife have access to the lake, pool, etc. while we are there if she would rather use the facilities at Spring Mountain? Are there rentals at the lake and how is the pool? Any Spa facilities?
As much as she likes autox with me, I think it'll be too...
We've been told (at the dealership level) that GM is pumping the brakes on an all EV Cadillac lineup. The plan at the moment is to have ICE and EV products available side-by-side for a number of years. They still plan to develop charging networks, improve the facilities, and offer compelling...
We still have multiple CT5 Blackwings available AND CT4 Blackwings including 2 IMSA Road Atlanta Editions (manual and Auto), at least 1 IMSA Sebring in Maverick Noir, and some Maverick Noir CT5 Blackwings. Its end of the month and if you wanted one, we got 'em.
Glad to hear you're enjoying it! I'm the guy who shared all the performance details with you. Don't forget to try out Line Lock on a Friday at your local Dairy Queen! You'll be the coolest guy there, I swear.
All good points. Air travel and air commerce are also major contributors to CO2 so ideally it would be nice to have alternatives. We don't have a truly viable rail system and most major cities lack public transport infrastructure that would help those who cannot afford cars or EV's to get...
Those are all great points, and I agree with much of your statement.
Our energy infrastructure needs a kick in the pants no matter if we move to EV's or not. Cars are all (EV or not) bigger and heavier than they were and cause more wear so our roads need an update as well.
As far as power is...
I'd love to hear everyone share their alternatives. People probably said the same about the switch from horses to petrol cars. I don't claim to have any answers, but we can't possibly go on burning dead dinos and spewing filth into the air indefinitely. I am in no way ignorant to the 10 tons of...

Everyone is going to be losing money for a while initially. I think most companies would understand that as a fact of the switch to EV's. What they do to handle the losses in the meanwhile should be the interesting part. Are they going to start assembly line layoffs and replace engineers with AI...
These are CT5 BWs in Maverick Noir. For CT4's you would need a track edition to get that color. For the 5's (I was told) that each large dealer got 2 or three of these.
Here is a close up to show the finish. It is really hard to see the orange peel versus the clear-coated paints in my opinion. I had to get in just the right place to get this shot. The paint has metallic flake in it as well which breaks up the light a bit to hide some of that.
It's not glass-smooth, there is definitely some slight orange peel texture to it. Having said that though, I think it looks like there was more attention paid to the preparation and painting on this finish. It looks like a higher quality job than Black Raven for example.
I have a support role at Ken Batchelor Cadillac (part of Sewell) in San Antonio and we have 5-6 CT5 Blackwings available. Some with carbon fiber 1&2, some auto, some manual, a couple Maverick Noir Frost as well. We are willing to sell out of state to move them if anyone is interested. We also...
