    Paint protection ‘25 BW5

I’m no expert, but from my understanding every material has its installation quirks and most small shop installers only have expertise in one type and hence only install that one. I don’t have that many installers in my city, so I bought the installer more than I bought the PPF brand. No sense...

    Kavakas Ceramic Pro/PPF

Do you live in an acid rain area? Did they apply ceramic coating over the PPF? I have STEK DYNOshield and CQUARTZ on the front and CQUARTZ on the rest of the car and wheels/calipers. I use RESET when I detail. Almost 3 years in and no issues. Bird shit is an another story. Gotta get that off...

CT5-V 2025 CT5 Blackwings - have your dealer check oil plug on the front of the engine (Service Bulletin attached)

My thought as well. Looks like it’s for tool access for a machining operation. But, it does leave a vulnerability. There are many other ways to plug that, looks like they went with the cheapest way possible. At a minimum they should have a retainer clip so that at worst it leaks but doesn’t blow...

    CT5BW Question about lugging engine

I like to keep the engine above 2500 no matter what gear I’m in. Just need to drive faster if you want to use 6th.

If I didn’t have a sticky case I would be constantly dropping my phone. I know this from experience.

    Secret/Hidden compartments

I have a silicone sleeve on my iPhone and I get pretty sideways without any issues (friction is your friend). I have more problems with shit flying around in the trunk. The weather mat helps to some extent.

Does A Radar Detector Help Anymore?

Love Joe’s Garage. The man was a genius. That’s car related (garage)?

CT5-V Thinking of coming over from an AMG and have some questions.

Another minor difference is $10K to $15K depending on options.

Does A Radar Detector Help Anymore?

I don’t know if I’d just stick my plug in anything without knowing what it was in before.

    Precision Package Delaying Order?

That’s a level of caring I never expected from GM.

Does A Radar Detector Help Anymore?

The Escort Redline 360c is a good one, assume that’s what you’re referring to. The Uniden R8 is as good or better. Really comes down to user interface and features.

Jack Cooper Transport going out of business after almost 100 years

I’m guessing they went through several generations of management and maybe the last round was incompetent. Happens all the time.
