Thank you for the kind words, I am a massive car fan and do this out of the love for driving and the lifestyle with like minded folks. i was not involved in the Escalade V but obviously some learnings from the V Series blackwings, the team that does the escalade V is very close and the folks on...
That was one of the goals, these parts fit the ATS V and camaros and I knew they will catch a hint since I am a massive 1LE fan (have a 13 ss 1le track car, gutted and semi cagged).
I would suggest you open a TAC case with dealer and ask for engineering support but from what I see those RPMs are way too low and it seems the ECM is trying to compensate like WONT tap suggested. Does it do it if you keep it around 2k?
Can u please turn the keys and push the buttons on the rear brake deflector ones too? One more thread and I might test my carbon bike frame in the same manner 🤣🤣
Its simple really, it was the better engine for the car and which is why its in the car. The camaro with LT1 has same underhood as the CT5, CT4 is way smaller and a small block just doesnt fit to OEM requirements. Open up the hood and also note how tucked that LF4 is and its behind the front...
Great question, on supercruise there is I believe 85mph or so, dont quote me. On regular Cruise, good question I ll ask but based in my experiences I have not reached a limit lol.
Lol oh man I know we were gona get some flack for that but it makes it faster and better and a lil sacrifice for performance to stand at gas station 5 min is not bad. However I know your an enthusiast and are driving it right so it says 150. When you put it in cruise for long trips you ll get...
Well I havent driven my Ct4-v Blackwing for a few months and am seriously hurting now. I came back from spring mountain 12/23/21 and cant tell you how much fun I had. Spent two days chasing CT5-V blackwings, what a workout.
I miss my car. Sat in it last night and watched some videos, pictures...
These cars are stunning. I ordered mine in the infrared first, but then we built our first pre production satin steel car and I almost fainted on the production line. It had the dark wheels and bronze calipers, full carbon, I was in utter love. Spent hours next to that car and then called...
Well no surprise on the CT5-V blackwing, I need to figure out how to get my hands on one as well lol. Can never have enough manuals in the garage. I really love how all the articles capture exactly what the team pushed for, true drivers car that also ends up being the best performance sedan...
The valves are in the back so post cats. The popping and burbling you hear is all tuned in accordance with valves too, so aftermarket exhaust could present some challenges.
Significantly different exhaust and valves. Old ones were two mode, on and off. The new ones actuate from 0-100% and differently in every mode and leaving them fully open impacts engine cals and tuning depending in modes. Its a full feedback circuit to ECM now. With V mode and my mode you can...
