Can confirm, I was hesitant to leave the safety of PA and drive my car into.....Jersey, but the event was pleasant and the people did not live up to the stereotypes associated with the "fine, upstanding residents of New Jersey". Would attend again.
the one in Horsham was last weekend, I don't think anyone attended unfortunately. we will need to get a group together this spring/summer hopefully in PA to get more of us in attendance! I'm a little north of Philly
Any word on interior/exterior refreshes? Bigger screen call outs anywhere? I also understand if you're staring right at the info and want to say "no" until there's more official information being released
We had excellent weather for a wash and ceramic coating maintenance. While I do miss my old opulent blue paint, this color really does look great in the sun. Also have some nice beauty shots with the oem carbon splitter and tapout carbon wing. They really changed the look of the car over the...
Arguably the worst wheel in terms of visual removal, but I ceramic coated the tech bronze summer set before swapping them over a few weeks ago. It makes a huge difference in cleaning time. What normally took a good amount of elbow grease and a microfiber wash mit only a few minutes per wheel...
Is anyone planning to go to the Horsham c&c tmw at turn14? I know I proposed it but other plans are popping up and I may miss it. If others are attending I will try and be there for an hour or so at the start, otherwise I may just try and catch up with the group at another event.
Bumping this thread for anyone local to SE PA /Jersey / Delaware. I know there's a decent amount of us in the area now.
There's a cars and coffee in Horsham at turn14 on the 22nd and then an event in Wildwood on may 21st.
yep you reuse the clips from the black OEM front deflectors (they are a PITA to get out, be patient) I gave up when mounting an skipped the middle clip and just ran 2 of the 3 on each side. I have some of the extra screws you'll need to mount the trim pieces underneath if you want to meet up...
I was going to make the joke that I coated the rotors so that rust and brake dust slides right off but figured I'd get some keyboard warriors attacking me saying it's bad to coat and not see the joke. Love that you're coordinating your oil filter colors to match the caliper colors too!!
Put the summer wheels and tires back on today, mainly because I managed to bend a wheel and it was shuddering at speed. Wheel Insurance actually covered a replacement and the dealer is going to swap it out when when the new wheel comes in. Took the time to clean and ceramic coat the calipers...
Sorry not trying to hijack this thread, I broke one of the stock retainer clips on the 4 and when I tried to reuse one of the good ones, I couldn't get the tapout wing to sit flish against the trunk. I pulled it off and switched to nuts to torque it down tight. It's the same clip that was posted...
Access was pretty bad for the ct4 as well. I used a ratcheting wrench to tighten the end nuts and then ended up dropping the wrench in the trunk panel. Had to accelerate in reverse and slam on the brakes to get it to shift around until I could fish it out. I'd suggest tying a string to any tools...
Today I got the tapout spoiler and wheel deflectors installed. I honestly like the somewhat subtle look of cf1 without the dive planes, which is a good thing since I'd have to swap bumpers to make it happen haha. Spoiler was a bit of a pain thanks to adhesive and clips sbut it's on. I'll likely...
Which quickjack frame do you have? I've got a regular 5000 series and always struggled to get my ats in the air. Haven't done an oil change myself yet or needed it in the air to see if I could reach jack points
