CT5-V 2025 CT5 Blackwings - have your dealer check oil plug on the front of the engine (Service Bulletin attached)

CT5-V Model
Hopefully someone can post details on the specific plug in question, where it is, and what to check. When I first read this thread I was thinking it was the drain plug, but I gather now it's some sort of oil galley plug or similar.
From this thread, here's what I think it looks like:

Just got my car back. This was the writeup on the invoice.

Oil plug check could be a good addition to PDI. ;) I think I would be checking my own now, anyway.

Maybe the person who didn’t install the Boeing door plug correctly left and started installing plugs at GM.

I've been super busy at work and haven't had time to properly document the issue I encountered in a new thread, yet.

For those of us lucky to have a 2025 CT5 Blackwing - there is a service bulletin posted today for ALL 2025 CT5 Blackwings to have the oil pan checked for a possible manufacturing defect. This document was shared with me this morning and my car has had the 'fix' completed. Still working with Cadillac service escalation team to hash out compensation, etc.
Good morning. What is the compensation you are hashing out with them?

I have been in contact with my dealer to be sure this is looked at when they get mine in. I guess it isn't a bad thing that mine has been sitting in MI since early Jan.....gives some time to work out these colossal blunders. Mine continues to sit out there as the projected delivery date keeps getting delayed and delayed.

After being in the Goat Rodeo for 18 months, I just simply couldn't imagine. To say I would be super pissed beyond belief would be the understatement of the year. My condolences for the unfortunate owners that have had to experience this. Unbelievable!!!

So ultimately what exactly is the issue? Is it simply the oil pan cup plug not being pressed in adequately? Is that the same part as the "487 Oil pan pickup tube plug"? So with this failure the entire oil pan needs to be replaced?

By the way; why is it only happening on the 2025s?

From what I understand, they just press the plug back in.

I can't believe the amount of oil that has to be all over the engine bay and underside of the vehicle. The cleaning required would be epic. If I just spent over $100k on a car and it dumped all the oil in the bay and out the back, they'd be paying for an inside out detailing and upgrading the powertrain warranty at a minimum.

Its happening on 25s because its a manufacturing defect from the supplier. Obviously the defects occurred for the start of production.

In my case the servicing dealer had my car for over 29 days 'awaiting parts' for a new oil pan after they first tried to present me with an almost $7k bill for something that was very clearly a manufacturing defect. The Service Manager tried to say that because I used a non GM branded oil filter at my 500 mile oil change I caused the front of engine plug to come lose at 607 miles on the odo (I may have been the first 2025 to have the issue on Feb 3rd?). I escalated the case to Cadillac customer care and they are working through approvals to provide me at least $750 for the service mis steps (I may still seek out legal representation as that amount is borderline insulting for a 130k car purchase that failed in a very dangerous way). They are also looking into a powertrain warranty extension. I am supposed to hear back in the next day or two.
