    CT5-V Rear tire size

I haven't installed 325s, but I theorize they'll fit just fine (and some people such as Hurley have done it) so long as you're at 0 camber. The 305s have to accommodate track camber which will bring the tires in closer.

    CT5-V CT 5 Backwing tires

Yup, that was my point. It's nearly impossible. As somebody who dailies my BW, including winter, this is pretty killer. Luckily I have Sottozeros. But eventually those will need to be replaced.

    CT5-V CT 5 Backwing tires

Go pull up some all seasons or winter tires from tirerack.com in a CT5 BW fitment. Good luck.

    Blown Motor

Just based purely off the factual number of 5 BWs produced (ignoring all other LT4 variants) and the 'factual' number of blown motors, a very safe bet would be around 1%. This is assuming 30 or so blown motors (somewhere around 10-15 having been public such as motortrend, forum posts, etc) Side...

    Wheel Repair Fail

I'm surprised they even tried. I was told by multiple body shops that damage to the chrome was not repairable. They definitely need to replace that. For me, ultimately I decided to just go with new wheels (Signature SV104) and kept the OEMs as winter wheels as it would have been out of pocket...

    Still want all-season tires

For the Sottozeros the rears may or may not be in stock (discontinued, only what inventory already exists) but the fronts are no longer available. They are already mixed (rears Porsche spec, front Mercedes spec) but with the fronts no longer available on tirerack if you can find them, they're...

    BRAKE PADS FOR TRACK DAY

Whether accurate or not, i was told the rear brake ducts were only needed on 100F+ days. I've had no issues running HPDE days in the 90s without them

    CT4 Jacking points

Don't use those spots https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/threads/jacking-up-your-blackwing.2554/page-16#post-80764 https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/threads/jacking-up-your-blackwing.2554/page-6#post-57447 IRT CT4 in general, Mirza did provide a pretty detailed description of where to lift...

    Signature Wheel's Cadillac Blackwing Adventures

I am not. Though, I haven't tried either. Might fit but you'd risk scratching. Here's some closeups of front and rear

CT5-V Blackwing 6-sp (2022) surging during normal driving

How did you convince them to do the work? My local dealer won't do it unless they can replicate the problem (which I understand, but that means potentially keeping my car for days or weeks)

    Square All-Seasons and 1-1.5” Lift?

I'm Seattle area. Have had my 5BW since Nov '21, so two full winters. It's my daily (relatively speaking, I commute 3 days a week and use the XT5 for everything else) and gets driven pretty much whatever the weather is. For whatever reason, I've had considerably less issues in this than I did...

People with the Sky Cool Gray seats; any regrets?

15k miles on mine. I used 303 Leather quite a lot early on. Pretty much every 2 weeks. Since then maybe every other month now. This photo is from Oct 2023, the red cast is legit, seemed to be dye transfer from a red flannel I've got. Have since cleaned it off. The 303 Leather cleaner does a...

I see a lot of people not liking the sunroof option

Mine's my daily driver first and track second. I personally really enjoy having a sunroof, so mine has it. That said, I absolutely don't fit in a 4BW with a sunroof. Helmet againt on the roof. Luckily in the 5 it's fine. It's a consideration if you plan to track it.

    Fender Bender

Suspension components aside, get a quote from a paintless dent repair shop if the damage isn't too much. I had something very similar happen and all of the traditional shops were estimating $4k-$6k, they were going to repaint the entire rear portion of the car including blending through the...
