So the precision package with the cup 2R just got the blackwing 1.5 seconds? The time is fine but kinda disappointing, I was hoping for a > 5 second jump. The RS3 for example had a nearly 10 second difference between a R compound tire and regular summer tires.

Nah, CT4 blackwing values will mirror ATS-V values in the long run IMO.

It's really hard to call the CT5-V blackwing underrated. If anything its the 4 which is actually underrated and overshadowed while being better than every other sport sedan bar its older brother.

Do the transmission issues extend to the Z06? It's one of my possible future cars.

Lotus manuals are very hit/miss in my experience. Have not driven the Emira but the Evora could be anywhere from a great transmission to a downright bad one. From what I have heard from people who I trust the emira manual is still meh.

I think as a sporty grand tourer and mile muncher the c8 is an excellent option. Most of my complaints were due to it not being raw enough compared to my CT4 blackwing, the blackwing felt more like a sports car than the C8 for me. I would also consider a LC500 for your requirements.

I don't know about the 70K+ price though. Unless I really wanted the convertible I would save the 10-15K and get the supra.
