Yes 3”. And with the valve system it’s either.

finally. Had to change some video settings so the video wasn’t so big of a file. But here is open valve start and rev. Switch to closed valve. Then open again.

I also questioned the square vs round tip. But as I walked up to the vehicle the tips are awesome. They are 4.5 inch each. And fill the the void perfectly. Again pictures don’t do it justice.
