Nice find ! I think the naturally aspirated 991.1 are underappreciated right now, the 991.2 turbo engines will eventually be more $ and trouble to keep running later on.
Since I track a lot I bought a 2020 GT4, with a few suspension mods and a good alignment it's a dream to drive on the track !

I sold my V and got back into Porsches at the begining of this year so I never installed the rears but I think your conclusion makes sense. I still have the rears new in the box + fronts with 1 track day on them for sale if your interested.
4 Track days, -2.5 camber toe 0, very aggressive driving, tires flipped + run backwards.
These are heavy cars and some tire compounds are more sensitive to the weight.
I have a full set of EBC SR-11 pads for the 4BW, Fronts have half a track day on them (basically new) and rears are brand new in the box.
These are the best pads you can install on a Blackwing, they last a very long time and are drivable on the street without being loud as a bus like other...
You should of seen the black paint on the Auto I bought of the showroom floor last June, full of buffer marks on the hood, I've never seen anything like like it, I hope the 2024 won't have been retouched by some Newby like the 2023..
