BLUF - Good news is that I got my 5BW (YEAH!!)...But not without one last show at the rodeo! After two weeks, the status on Cadillac inventory website never changed from 'In Transit'. I happened to show up yesterday (Monday) and saw my car sitting out front. I immediately recognized my option...

Cadillac still not acknowledging the software update issue...but some good news that they indicate shipping before EOY.

Just got a $500 private offer from Cadillac while browsing the website…. Says it is good on any model. Drop in the bucket on a $120k car but I will take whatever I can get!

I have found no broad mention of LT4 reliability issues that would cause a stop sale. We all have our opinion so I'll throw mine in here... I think this all about the broader market for vehicle sales which were down 12% in the US for September. Cadillac was slated to begin '25 CT5 V/BW...

Regional Cadillac rep told the sales manager I've been working with that all '25 V's were being held to December to reduce inventory of '24's... AutoTrader still shows 284 new '24 BW's for sale nationally. Perhaps @1StunnaV has more direct information.

My 5BW was built yesterday, as well... Will see how things go from here...

Beginning to detect from the group that I maybe overly optimistic in my hope for a Sept delivery... ;)

My order has reached status 3400 and still scheduled for production next week. Excited that I may only be a few weeks from delivery!

Not sure what constraints exist for 2025 BW's but I chose not to order CF packages to avoid a hold up on my order. Does anyone have experience adding carbon fiber spoiler after delivery? Did you go with GM part or aftermarket?

My CT5 BW was assigned a target production week (TPW) of September 2nd. Hope it holds!
