Great way to put it. I daily mine and even having it go out on me, I’d still feel confident taking it anywhere across the nation at this point. Go drive it and enjoy it.
Pulls like a freight train and can’t complain. It is a bit lumpy, it feels like the motor mounts may already be slightly shot at 15k miles. And second gear when its cold feels grindy/crunchy. But it’s just stuff you kinda start to pick up and nitpick after you’ve been driving it for 15k miles.
I’m just saying what blew up my motor. Others may have different issues. Excess material blocking oil passthrus to the bearing. I physically saw the crank out of my car after they tore it down.
Howdy howdy. As the second person having a motor blow up on them (car and driver being the first) I figured I’d jump on this thread. Regarding the initial failures it was due to excess material in the crank causing an eventual blockage of one or more ports to the bearings causing an eventual...

My alternator went out within 700-800 miles. I'd always just recommend taking it to the dealership but the issue is they're gonna hit you with ye old "cannot replicate".
Don't worry BlueBird. I felt the same way on the no lift shifts and everything. First gear to second is honestly really hard to get smooth if traction is on. I had the issue where it just bogged every time until I realized that traction control needed to be at least partially adjusted. For the...
