Good question, it obviously has got a nick, but it seemed fine, the few miles I went. We'll see what they say on Tues when the tires come in.
I'm fortunate my local tire shop is literally 1 mile away, so I just need to inflate it enough to pop over.
I need to recce in my Hyundai first after...
Not a nail, but a pothole, but hey-ho, who doesn't want to buy new rear tires when you're only 5k in. Air comes out, almost as fast as it goes in
Coming down from the East Bay I got a rental (since I was going onto some National/State parks and wanted some light off roading options) and the main roads were fine.
I took 178 over and 58 back (178 on the return trip woulda been a no go on account of the weather). I went via Ridgecrest on the...
Me? No no. Just that optioning out dealer stock 4BWs at 75k+ takes away one of its key USPs vs other options, which is its relative "bang for the buck".
Eesh, they spec'd them too high to begin with getting into the mid 70s for something that will sit on the forecourt. They'll likely end up going for a price with a 6 at the start of it, when it's all said and done.
ETA: Admittedly I am thinking '22MY prices, I don't remember what increases...
In our group I think we all kinda thought... oh hey?! But I got the impression we were all too polite to impose so we drove what we owned, lol
It's pretty impressive how well the car shut down the shenanigans with the nannies cranked up!
It's a load of wank - as others have pointed out. 4 of my 5 local dealers are 'V certified' and I'd not trust and/or pick one over the other.
Maybe South San Francisco, as they have a good rep and are VClub associated too, which you'd like to think means they are more enthusiast-minded in...
You need to use theirs' as they hook you up to their 'hybrid' next restraints - maybe if your's can hook up it'd be fine; however, I'm sure it's a T&Cs thing as well, even if your's is all Snell compliant and the like.
It's nice to hear the engine for sure, but TBH I think I might prefer no sound to all the shouting over the walkie-talkie  I actually had mine turned down a fair bit when I wasn't right behind the instructor, as I found it not that helpful to hear what someone is doing a couple corners...
Included. Don't lose it ;-)
When I got home, after taking another 4 days to go to some National Parks & Vegas, I was getting worried I'd lost mine but of course it was in the last place I could check.
How have things gone with the Supercar?
I'm going to hit the track next month and not that I don't trust the dealer who did my change... but ya, so when I get the track alignment and brake fluid done at a local specialist, I thought I might buy some 0w40 Supercar and get them to do that while I...
RE the AutoX track, does this look like the same one you folks ran?
Someone mentioned using the 'upper' or 'lower' tarmac depending on the weather and/or if there are Vette schools on the go at the same time.
This is from when I was there last week.
- I'd checked the trunk previously and did so again and it's fine.
- Yes I've got the AC on and set to recirculate. It's been the same settings since I got it.
Booked in for Weds - I got fob me off vibes from the rep, but let's see.
- there is nothing getting in as such, I pressure washed it and no change to the inside occurred
- for sure the latest weather has made it more noticeable, ie temps & increased humidness, but bar it being chilly in the...
