Black 5bw in Old Tappan NJ, Tuesday afternoon(I think). Parked by CVS in BiState Plaza.
Couldnt tell if it was a 22-24 or a 25/26.
Had bronze wheels I believe.
I think i saw it in OT a few other times as well.
Only other local 5BW I know of is out of Westwood(I'm in River Vale).
Ouch. I think it could be fixed and if it goes that route, really research the shop doing it.
Did you buy it new or used? Id say repair cost could land in the mids 20s, not enough to hit 60% value to get totalled. However if airbags activated(more than just steering wheel) that could change...
Mine is a '22, but I got the same 13554170 sensors from rockauto for my drag radials. They automatically connected with the car within a mile or two. No relearn needed.
I'm also going to try to data log with hptuners the next time at the track. I dont have PDR in my car so at least with the log, I can see if I was at full throttle the whole track. The class at Spring Mountain showed me that I wasnt applying full throttle when I assumed I was or should have...
Heres my 3 best timeslips.
I looked through all my slips and my best 60' was 1.913. That was on a 12.0 run where I think I hit the rev limiter and let off/didn't shift. My 330' there was 5.030 compared to 5.061 on my 11.506 run. So the car definitely has an 11.4xx in it even with a 60' in the...
Updating this again...
I bought a pair of the Aturro drag radials in the factory oem size of 305/30r19.
I had them mounted on a pair of apex 19x11 wheels, flow formed EC-7s I believe.
Drag radials setup weighed .8 lbs per wheel less than the oem wheels/tires.
I broke in the drag radials as per...
So they are building it this week and you think itll be at your dealer next week? I dont even think the quickest blackwing delivery to a forum member here has been under a few weeks between build and delivery, with many 22 and 23's being months until delivery. But hey, who knows.
I like my beat up old Dodge 2500 with the 12v cummins. Base model stripper work truck my dad bought new in 1996. Just rolled over 91k miles. Future plans are a belltech 3/4 drop, 20" steelies, and some engine performance upgrades.
