That was a lot of typing to say you don't know the market. Nobody's is paying an ADM for Macan. If you are, I don't even know what to say to that. Having 10 of a specific spec Blackwing is a meme, that doesn't mean its worth anything.
Have you never heard of the joke of people trying to sell...
I would not pay an ADM in this market, you can get carbon cars that aren't from high volume dealers. You can also get MSRP from other volume dealers with carbon.
Only very specific Porsche's sell with ADM, namely GT cars. A Blackwing is not a GT3 RS. Its a cool car but it absolutely is not...
Completely depends on the dealer and the allocation. A high volume dealer with nobody waiting will see you get a car much quicker than a dealer who gets one a year and has 2 people in line. Hard to do an average.
Do some homework, find a dealer who receives at least 1 a year and doesn't have...
Seems to be a crap shoot. Its not as bad as it used to be but you can still be waiting longer then you should. Probably not 5 months but I wouldn't discount 2-3.
Getting it fixed is great, I would work with Cadillac on a form of compensation (especially if you have financed through GM) as an under warranty vehicle in the shop so long while you make payments is annoying.
Shit happens, but I would hope if you are now talking to Cadillac they might be...
4V Blackwings aren't as in demand as 5V Blackwings, the fact its an automatic also makes it a tougher sell. Depending on the spec I wouldn't be surprised if it was sitting for a while.
It most likely hasn't been sitting for an entire year. These cars usually take forever to ship. If it was...
Yes, the LT5, besides having a 2.65L blower vs the 1.7L on the LT4 also had a few changes. It also has port fuel injection in addition to the direct because of the fuel demands.
I have the launch which I bought for my C8 when I installed a Borla ATAK for the exhaust valve relearn instead of taking it to a dealership. The exhaust swap will absolutely throw a code unless you do a relearn, I'm assuming its the same on the Blackwings since its basically the same tech...
If the original warranty is void it will show up as blocked.
I don't know about conversions but up here in Canada ( I just went through this on my C7) an imported car has to abide by Canadian rules. What this means is the gauge cluster needs to display kph not mph and a few other random things...
That looks like excessive rubbing and its gone right through the top layer.
No conditioner or restoring cream will fix that.
If you bought it used with that issue I would hope you negotiated a fair price or would have told them to fix the seat before you took delivery.
I'd try a warranty...
This just sounds like they're removing liability from themselves.
The tires have no tread, I think 140 treadware vs the 200 a regular Cup 2 has? Most likely if a tire needs to be replaced due to it being bald as shit (more so then it was when new) its not really worth replacing only one tire...
Unfortunately its a Caddy, it has a lot of sound deadening. Which sucks because I think a big reason we buy these cars is the V8 but GM goes and adds a bunch of deadening to mute it.
The LT4 has always had very little whine, with some simple fixes like the lid, but its also a Caddy and has more...
I didn't own a .1 but I had a 991.2 C4S manual. Obviously this was when they changed the motor to a turbo away from NA. I sold the car in a month.
I've never driven a .1 but sound is important yo me and its my understanding they do sound great. However these cars are also expensive to maintain...
