Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Got my order in finally...
I really wanted to go 19's but am strongly considering lowering it too. My back hurts thinking what my daily ride to the office would feel like. Since my OEM tires still have a lot of life I'm going to use those first which gives me time to consider what tire is next.

Sorry everyone, something happened with our notifications and I wasn't receiving any for thread replies for a bit. Love to see all the interest and great looking Blackwings on our wheels. Every single setup posted so far has been money!!

To clarify something I saw mentioned, we do not say you need 3mm spacer for the 9.5" or wider wheels on the front. You certainly can run one if you wanted to though, as some members are.

The 3mm is suggested for the 18x9" ET30 wheel sizes because of the already slim inner clearance from the factory and the fact that its moving the wheel 2mm further inboard compared to stock (when not using a spacer). If you plan to run the exact OEM tire, you don't need a spacer, but there's a chance with another brand/model tire being wider, running the 3mm spacer eliminates that possibility and gives you a littler nicer stance, OR...you could run 18x9.5" ET22 up front and have an even nicer stance :)

I ordered mine straight from Apex website on Black Friday sales so got pretty decent discount and free shipping. Shipping was fast, only 2-3 days. Very happy with my purchase, wheels look very good in person fitment is much better compare to oem. I am glad Apex make quality and lightweight forged wheel that are affordable compare to most brands.
I meant to post on this sooner. Thank YOU for saving me a few bucks. I always liked the appearance of a slightly larger than OEM wheel. The BW4 pulls off OEM 18's better than any I've seen. I drive the same IMSA and went with the same wheel set up except in satin black. UPS tracker shows delivery this saturday. Hoping to have everything installed by monday with pics to follow.

I bought mine during the last BF sale but don't want to put them on until temps are above 40F.

Chicago chiming in. 50/60/70's forecasted next week! Hoping UPS is accurate with a saturday delivery so I can ceramic them before they go on. Planning to replace pads while wheels are off. I'm done with brake dust.

I too have delayed putting my Apex wheels with the PS4s back on the car due to continuing colder weather/ It was in the upper 20s Tuesday night and still a bit cold...but I'm eyeing some days next week to finally do it...

Meanwhile it's hitting 90's in Louisiana. :(
I'm always warning folks who complain about the cold that it will soon be 90s and humid so to be thankful with what they got....what can you do?

What pads are you changing to? I got anthracite so the dust blends in a little.

The Z26 will certainly dust a lot less, but they will also bite less. And certainly will take a major hot on the heat capacity, last of which a lot of us are probably not concerned with.

I'm assuming a slightly less bite from OEM but willing to sacrifice that for the extreme reduction in dusting. The few posters here that have used them already didn't have much to say about differences from OEM.
My BW4 is to get me back and forth from home to the office. Most likely will never see a track. If it did, I'd probably be looking for a 3rd pad to use.

Finally put the SM-10 on the car.
18x9 ET30 front with a 5 mm spacer. Extended thread lug nuts. No spacer is needed to fit.
18x9.5 ET35 rear
My atsv with the same rear offset had a lot more poke. To much in fact. Much better on the bw as it can swallow wider wheels/tires.
