According to Mike Colias of Automotive News, Cadillac’s Chief Engineer, David Leone, stated during an interview at last week’s Chicago Auto Show, that they are always looking for things to keep the model lineup fresh and people coming into the doors of Cadillac’s dealerships. As a result, an ATS Vsport is not out of the question.
An ATS Vsport would be an upper-level ATS and would help regain sales momentum for the Cadillac ATS according to Leone.
Let’s hope Cadillac doesn’t follow on the heels of BMW where every 3-series, 4-series, and 5-series has so many different trim and model levels, that it becomes a running joke within the automotive media.
