First Look: 2016 Cadillac ATS-V!

Thanks to Road and Track magazine, we’re finally getting a look at some official images of the all-new Cadillac ATS-V coupe, one week ahead of its formal debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2016 Cadillac ATS-V will be putting out a blistering 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque from an upgraded version of the Cadillac CTS Vsport’s 3.6-liter twin-turbo V-6.

Road & Track states the new ATS-V coupe and sedan (soon to follow after the coupe is introduced) will have an upgraded twin-turbo V6 equipped with titanium connecting rods, two water-to-air intercoolers, a separate radiator to cool the transmission, an electronically locking rear differential, and titanium turbine blades to handle the additional boost and RPMs the turbochargers are capable of.

Along with the engine upgrades, the ATS-V will direct torque to the rear wheels through your choice of either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.  The eight-speed automatic coming from the 2015 Corvette Stingray?

The suspension will be significantly firmer, and the ATS-V will be equipped with customized Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

For now, enjoy the pics below!
