CADILLAC V-SERIES BLACKWING
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

V-SERIES BLACKWING RESERVATION PROGRAM:

Q: WHAT IS A V-SERIES BLACKWING RESERVATION?
A: To celebrate the arrival of the V-Series Blackwing, Cadillac customers have an opportunity to reserve one of the first 250 CT4-V Blackwing and/or first 250 CT5-V Blackwing (500 total) through an online reservation tool on Cadillac.com. Within this reservation process, customers will reserve the opportunity to purchase a V-Series Blackwing and select a Participating Dealer to finalize the sales transaction and order the vehicle.

Q: IS THE RESERVATION AMOUNT REFUNDABLE?
A: Yes, the $1,000 reservation amount is refundable. Refunds can be made by contacting the selected dealer. After the cancellation request is received, dealers have up to 7 business days for refunds to be processed. If selected Dealer does not provide a customer their refund within 7 days, GM is authorized to process a customer refund and debit dealer’s open account.

Q: HOW DOES A CUSTOMER RESERVE A V-SERIES BLACKWING?
A: Customers may reserve their V-Series Blackwing through the online reservation process. The simple four step system allows customers to: choose model (CT4 or CT5), choose dealer, enter their information, and confirm the reservation agreement.

Q: WILL MY DEALERSHIP AUTOMATICALLY BE ENROLLED?
A: No. Only enrolled dealers will be able to participate in taking reservations. Dealer enrollment is voluntary and runs 12/4-1/8. To enroll Dealer principals will need to complete the Global Connect enrollment including enablement and proper configuration of the MasterCard Gateway and RouteOne API Integration to allow dealers to successfully process reservations.

Q: A CUSTOMER HAS SELECTED MY DEALERSHIP FOR THEIR V-SERIES BLACKWING RESERVATION – WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
A: A sales representative from your selected dealer should contact the customer within 2-3 days to schedule an appointment to finalize their V-Series Blackwing order content (including color, features and options, price, etc.), complete credit application and all other steps necessary.

Q: WHEN WILL MY CUSTOMER RECEIVE THEIR V-SERIES BLACKWING?
A: Cadillac expects V-Series Blackwing production to begin Summer 2021 with reservation program customers receiving delivery late Summer 2021. Waitlist customers / dealer general orders can expect the earliest deliveries late 2021 calendar year dependent on allocation availability. Cadillac will be in contact with customers throughout the production process to update approximate timing.

Q: THE V-SERIES BLACKWING RESERVATION IS FULL, CAN MY CUSTOMERS GET ON A WAITLIST?
A: Yes, joining the waitlist will provide the customer’s contact information to their selected dealer so that you can notify them when general ordering opens for the V-Series Blackwing.

Q: MY WAITLIST CUSTOMER PLACED THEIR ORDER AHEAD OF MY RESERVATION CUSTOMER – WILL THEY GET THEIR VEHICLE FIRST?
A: No. Cadillac will match the list of 500 approved reservations vs. final orders received as of March 12th and reservation customers will continue to receive one of the first 250 VINs – VINS for customers on the waitlist or general ordering cannot be guaranteed.

Q: WILL THERE BE CT4-V BLACKWING AND CT5-V BLACKWING ALLOCATION AFTER THE RESERVATION PROGRAM?
A: Yes. There will be additional 22MY V-Series Blackwing allocation after the reservation program. The V-Series Blackwing will be a constraint line item under the CT4 and CT5 allocation groups when V-Series Blackwing orders are available to prioritize in a DOSP cycle (by July or August 2021).

Q: HOW WILL THE V-SERIES BLACKWING CONSTRAINT BE ALLOCATED?
A: It will be allocated initially according to the percent of allocation (POA) method. Once dealers have an opportunity to establish a V-Series Blackwing sales rate (likely 4-6 months after ship to commerce) the constraint algorithm will switch to available days supply (ADS)

Q: WHAT IS THE TOTAL 22MY PRODUCTION FOR THE V-SERIES BLACKWING MODELS?
A: Cadillac is not announcing 22MY production volumes, but V-Series Blackwing production will be limited (similar to prior generation ATS V and CTS V models).
