2017 Cadillac CTS-V Changes Coming

The third-generation Cadillac CTS-V is getting some changes and updates for the 2017 model year. These changes include the following:

  • Following Distance Indicator
  • Rear Camera Mirror, which is included in the available Luxury Package
  • Auto ventilated seats
  • Cadillac CUE updates that include CUE Collection and Teen Driver:
  • Collection provides access to browse, select and install apps to your vehicle. Apps include Pandora, iHeart Radio, The Weather Channel and more (data plan rates may apply)
  • Teen Driver is a configurable feature that lets you activate customizable vehicle settings associated with a key fob to encourage safe driving behavior. It can limit certain vehicle features, and it prevents certain safety systems from being turned off. An in-vehicle report gives you information on your teen’s driving habits and helps you to continue to coach your new driver
  • Android Auto (launched interim 2016 model year)

The 2017 Cadillac CTS-V LPO-level features are deleted and two new ones are added.  The Jet Black with Saffron accent interior is no longer available with the Red Obsession Tintcoat exterior, and the Luxury Package now includes the Cadillac Rear Camera Mirror.

New Features

  • (UE4) Following Distance Indicator
  • (DRZ) Rear Camera Mirror (Included with available [Y40] Luxury Package)
  • Auto ventilated seat functionality

  • (WCZ) Morello Fiber Carbon Interior Trim Kit
  • (RWJ) Outdoor vehicle cover

Changes

  • Interior colors (HG2)/(HG9) Jet Black with Saffron accents restricted from exterior color (G7E) Red Obsession Tintcoat
  • Updated Cadillac CUE (Info 2.6 version), includes Collection and Teen Driver:  Collection — Access to browse, select and install apps to your vehicle. Apps include Pandora, iHeart Radio, The Weather Channel and more (data plan rates may apply)
