After I had done all I wanted to on the Stinger, I realized my 4BW had the same type of nasty deposits, fortunately less severe. So, need two more packages of Clay Magic and fix the BW. A lot of work created by allowing TX sandblasting.
Won't make that mistake again. Don
Dealership reminded me of Clay Magic. Of course they really wanted to send me to a detailer, for $200
Clay Magic is working wonders. The hood, half of the roof and trunk area feel really nice. Complete the job and put a coat of wax on and it will be great!!!! Happy camper! Don
While I do have a 4BW, I have a very nice and shiny Kia Stinger GT1.
Day before yesterday, I washed the car, car paint felt like glass. Left the garage door open and the howling, freaking TX wind blew grit all over it. Next day I rinsed it off, no improvement. Rinsed it off today, no...
The other thing about the Stinger is that there is a plastic shield covering the bottom of all the underhood equipment. About 10 fasteners to remove. I have a partial rotator cuff tear. I am able to do pretty well at the gym by being selective about which machines to use but dealing with those...
My views are as you comment. Again, here in my neighborhood, lots of people pay for their lawns to be mowed, others often have maids.
No maids for us. Yards are 3 acres minimum though many lots have lots of trees and steep back yards. I just get on my new Cub Cadet and mow away.
Although...
I'm no expert but after watching a lot of shows about custom builders, I'd think a good shop could repair the damage to the point that you wouldn't notice it.
I any event, I hope that whatever your decision is that it pleases you in the long run. Don
IMPRESSED
I just tried a wheel cleaner name Sonax. 4BW hadn't been driven many miles since being washed. Nasty black looking crud came off on the paper towel. Don
Thanks, nice to see a recommendation for a product that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. What product are you calling a "rinse less wash" ?
Edited to add that the car has PPF only half way up the hood, no professional ceramic though I do use "ceramic" spray waxes. Don
I have a home rainwater collection system along with sediment and charcoal filters and UV.
So, having said that anyone have suggestions for a car only pressure washer? Thanks, Don
