Would you recommend this as a "family Corvette"?

I’ve owned 4 generations of Z06’s and I would definitely call my 5 BW a 4 door Z06/ZL1. I love this car, could easily daily if you wanted.

    CT5-V Opinions (Used car purchase)

Your concern about the miles might help if we knew the year 22,23 or 24? How many owners? You can also check the date code on the tires especially the rears. My car is a 23 tires date codes are 32nd week of 22, (3222). This will be an indication on how cars been driven Hope this helps

    Lowering springs

I ordered Swift springs from Tapout, installed aligned back to basically factory specs, no need for adjustable control arms. Love the look and handling. Ride is not bad, in sport mode I’d call it sport plus. Somewhere between sport and track.

    CT4-V Blackwing...kind of slow

I do understand where the OP is coming from that’s why I bought the 5BW 6spd and that’s not fast enough but Tapout is helping with that. For me once you’ve had 600+RWHP in a 3,200lb car everything else feels a little sluggish. Again like it’s been said first world problems.

CT5-V Blackwing - 771 whp on Pump Gas!

Tapout, the build your doing next week is it a manual? Also when you say “phase limiter plug” does that mean it has no phase limiter? I’ve been speaking with Mike about this package just concerned about cam surge under 2,000 rpm’s on the highway Thanks in advance

    CT5-V Cooling mods?

Even before the ported blower but more so now with the 2.3 pulley if I’m doing some 60-130 runs the temps climb and you can feel the cars down a little on power. Once it cools down a little it’s back but you can defiantly feel it. My C7 Z06 was the same way but worse. LMP offers a much larger...

Anyone considering when they tune to run E85? It seems like a very easy 50-60 hp gain.

    CT5-V Cooling mods?

Anyone running some of the cooling mods and notice any real difference? Just finished up 2.3 pulley and Kong X port from Tapout (great guys to work with). Thinking about CR modified bricks or maybe LMP expansion tank.

Kong Blower on the way from Tapout

Come on son, this is a must have. The car pulls like a freight train on the big end. Gonna have to tune this thing and maybe some C&R bricks for lower IAT’s. Again Tapout was great

Kong Blower on the way from Tapout

Installed just drove down the street but the blower whine is amazing. Tapout said to be easy on it for approx 30 miles to let it learn. Mike at Tapout was great to work with. Will report back with more seat time
