Cars arrive as early as 7am but peak hours are usually 8:30 to 10:30am. I can't do this Sunday as I will be in Nashville but possibly the following weekend, May 26.
There's also a weekly gathering every Sunday morning at Applebee's in Lake Grove with spillover going to Smithhaven mall across street. As long as it's nice, it's always a good turnout. Plenty of parking and no fee, except for the Drive for Dana show.
I can probably do Captree one Sunday...
Actually, it was such short notice, no one could make it on May 4. So @Ergoc5 and I did "Tea and Tires" instead by putting on our summer tires in his driveway and sipping some great mango tea his wife made.
My next two weekends are filled and then the last weekend of May is Memorial Day...
And just in case this isn't far out east enough, we could move to Montauk. 😅
In seriousness, fine to take suggestions for a location further west if it means a better turnout.
Call out to all Long Island BW owners.
Tomorrow (Sat May 3) @Ergoc5 and I are swapping to summer tires and then driving up to Starbucks at 4020 Nesconset Hwy, Setauket- East Setauket, NY 11733 for an ad hoc BWs and Coffee. Should be arriving there around 10:30am.
@Mutz , @SVTnSTi ...
Taking a script doesn't necessarily make you old. Now if after you got home you realized that your directional had been on since pulling out of CVS, well, that's a different story! 🙄
Yes, this was a game changer for me because many years ago whenever my card would get hacked (usually from it being captured during a swipe at a PoS unit), I had to spend two hours updating the card number on all of the automated billing sites I used. Now I have a separate virtual card assigned...
Just use the online chat when you log into the website. Literally took less than 5 minutes to ask for the lower prices and then just accept the 12 month agreement by answering "yes" right within chat window. You'll probably be on music hold at least 5 minutes.
Yes for Capital One (at least Venture X which I have). Same as if I use my physical card. Double points on everything and 10x points for travel bookings thru their travel site.
Capital One has it as well and I use it just for that reason but also so for when one of these sites gets hacked, I don't have to go and cancel my physical credit card and update every site with a new card number
This is what I remember from my prior car and wanted to avoid. I'll suck up the extra $2 I'm paying per month for the 5 min chat I had for renewal. Still way better than $23 / month. Wonder how many people just let it renew at the higher rate. Must be a lot to offset a 70-80% discount for...
So current plan renews on April 3 and my renewal letter said it would be $23/month (Music & Entertainment plan). Currently paying $7/month for last 12 months on whatever promo I got at the time. I just did an online chat with their chatbot, and I quickly cut to the chase and said $23/mo was too...
Okay now that I can see it better on my tablet, it's definitely not mine. The license plate frame is different and it doesn't look like it has CF1 and CF2 trim like mine has Otherwise it's exactly the same including the blacked out badges and dark tint. And I definitely wasn't out that far east...
@obeykube I am almost sure that's mine. My only doubt is that I don't recognize the gas station as I never use Mobil. It's possible my wife filled up somewhere as she drives the car during the week. Where exactly did you see that?
